15 Best Marketing and Business Podcasts I’m Listening to in 2025
Listening to other podcasts is one of the best ways to improve your own show. You can learn a lot from seeing how different podcasters structure episodes, interview guests, the pacing of each show, and more.
I personally love business and marketing-related podcasts. Not only do I pick up on podcasting secrets from studying the hosts, but I also learn valuable information that’s directly tied to running my business.
So whether you’re looking for tips to improve your show or you’re just trying to discover new podcasts, these are the best marketing and business podcasts of 2025:
#1 – Marketing School
Marketing School is a daily podcast hosted by Neil Patel and Eric Siu—two people who really need no introduction in the world of digital marketing.
What I love about this show is how topical it is. With nearly 3,000 episodes, Neil and Eric are always talking about the latest trends in digital marketing while pulling from their own experiences and success stories.
Obviously, these two have a breadth of knowledge that’s really unparalleled when combined. They’ve essentially defined winning playbooks on marketing and SEO practices over the years (which I’ve personally followed and applied for my clients).
Listening to this podcast is probably the easiest way for any marketer to stay up to date with what’s trending in the industry.
#2 – Duct Tape Marketing
John Jantsch is another pioneer in the marketing space. While he may not be quite as well known as Neil and Eric, his Duct Tape Marketing approach is still one of the best foundational systems for small businesses, even 15+ years after its publish date.
The Duct Tape Marketing podcast is a bit of the same—laying the groundwork for planning and executing a successful marketing system. Only the podcast is more up-to-date with new technology and trends that didn’t exist when John wrote his initial framework.
Most episodes are just around 20 minutes, so you can learn a lot very quickly. John is a master at cutting straight to the point and delivering real value without fluff and filler (this is also a great lesson for hosts interested in batch recording episodes).
New episodes are released every week. But if you’re like me and don’t want to wait a week to hear great content, just browse through his library of over 1,000+ episodes and pick a topic that interests you.
#3 – The Amy Porterfield Show
Formerly Online Marketing Made Easy, The Amy Porterfield Show is a marketing podcast focused on business growth.
One thing I love about this show is that Amy truly practices what she preaches, and the name change of her show in itself is proof of that.
Online Marketing Made Easy had been running successfully for over 12 years. But to tap into her true growth potential, Amy made the switch to leverage her personal branding while expanding the show’s topics.
Amy is an excellent speaker. So in addition to learning about her growth secrets, you can also level-up your podcasting skills by taking a page or two from her playbook.
#4 – Founders
The Founders podcast is one of my favorite sources of inspiration. Each episode is a biography of a successful entrepreneur.
From Jeff Bezos to Steve Jobs, Henry Ford, Charlie Munger, John Rockefeller, and even Kobe Bryant, there’s a wide range of inspiring success stories that you can learn from.
My personal favorite is episode #333, the biography of Dietrich Materschitz, the founder of Red Bull. So if you’re looking for a place to start, that’s my top recommendation.
#5 – On Purpose with Jay Shetty
Technically, On Purpose with Jay Shetty isn’t categorized with a business or marketing tag. It’s actually a mental health and wellness podcast covering topics related to mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, and self-help.
This is still one of my favorite podcasts, and it’s hyper-relevant to business and marketing.
First and foremost, Jay’s advice can help you feel better and get more out of your day—which is crucial for any business owner and entrepreneur. Second, Jay is constantly interviewing founders and executives. You can learn a ton of valuable marketing and business insights from these guests.
Jay’s episodes with guests are a masterclass in podcast interviews. So if you’re looking for ways to improve your own interview process, this show is a must-listen.
#6 – Unknown Secrets of Internet Marketing
This podcast brings a refreshingly technical approach to digital marketing that cuts through the typical surface-level advice you hear everywhere else.
Hosted by Matthew Bertram, what sets this podcast apart is how deep Matthew goes into how he built and scaled multiple agencies.
The episodes dive deep into the mechanics of things like programmatic advertising, advanced Google Ads strategies, attribution modeling, and other topics that most marketers tend to mention but never really explain.
So if you’re past the beginner stage of marketing and want the technical insights into why certain marketing strategies work, this one’s for you.
#7 – Marketing Over Coffee
Marketing Over Coffee is essentially a conversation between John Wall and Christopher Penn. As a listener, it almost feels like you’re eavesdropping on a chat between two marketing veterans.
My favorite part about this podcast is how they balance staying current with industry trends while applying evergreen principles.
You’re also getting a blend of Penn’s data science background with Wall’s agency expertise. So you’ll hear an analytical breakdown of concepts paired with real-world applications, which is the perfect complement to each other.
#8 – The Intrinsic Value Podcast
Hosted by Phil Town, the Intrinsic Value Podcast is actually about investing and may seem out of place on a marketing podcast list.
But hear me out—understanding how investors evaluate businesses will change how you think about marketing ROI and business growth. The show’s focus on value investing principles can directly translate to any modern marketing strategy.
When Phil talks about identifying companies with sustainable competitive advantages, he’s essentially describing what any marketer should be trying to achieve through brand positioning and content marketing.
The episodes on understanding financial statements have even changed the way I present results to my clients and how I think about long-term marketing strategies. This is invaluable information if you’re building a startup that needs to raise capital or if you have clients that want to get acquired.
#9 – Everyday AI
I personally have mixed feelings about AI in marketing, but we’ve reached the point of no return, and you need to adapt if you want to survive. AI isn’t going anywhere, and if you can’t keep up with the trends then your competitors will crush you.
Jordan Wilson’s Everyday AI podcast will help you understand practical applications of using artificial intelligence in marketing, while helping you keep pace with the latest trends and releases.
As the name implies, it’s a daily show—which is necessary for a subject with so many frequent changes and exponential growth.
#10 – The Copywriter Club
Conversely, The Copywriter Club is a good listen if you’re looking for a balance that isn’t so tech-heavy or AI-dependent.
Kira Hug and Rob Marsh have built a complete community that’s focused on the craft of good writing. They pull their own insights and interview copywriters to provide real insights that you can’t get from generic marketing advice.
The tactical nature of this show really sets it apart from others. You’ll hear detailed breakdowns of successful campaigns, client management techniques, pricing strategies, and more.
This podcast does so much more than just teach you how to be a good writer. It focuses on the business side of copywriting as well—covering everything from handling difficult clients to scaling your services.
#11 – We Study Billionaires
We Study Billionaires is all about business analysis from an investor’s perspective. Preston Pysh and Stig Brodersen examine what drives long-term success beyond marketing tactics.
They tend to follow the investment philosophy inspired by Warren Buffet’s principles. When you understand how investors evaluate competitive advantages, then you can start to build marketing systems that create real value beyond just generating leads.
I love their interviews with fund managers and business owners. These discussions reveal patterns about what makes companies thrive for decades, and it’s easy to apply these concepts to your own business strategy.
#12 – The Mindful Marketing Podcast
Sarah Santacroce offers a unique perspective compared to the other marketing podcasts on my list. She focuses on ethics and sustainability over the “growth-at-all-cost” mentality.
I’ve been in the marketing industry for three decades, and at times, it can definitely feel a bit soulless.
But Sarah’s “gentle marketing” approach can help you feel a bit more grounded and teach you how to build authentic relationships with your customers. If you want to humanize your brand with a marketing strategy that’s trustworthy and transparent, then you’ll love this show.
#13 – Masters of Scale
Reid Hoffman’s Masters of Scale stands out from other marketing and business podcasts because of the caliber of his guests. I also love the detailed focus on scaling strategies that work at different stages of a business.
Too many marketers and experts out there try to teach a one-size-fits-all approach to scale, which doesn’t really work. Most of these strategies are either too soon to apply for smaller companies or not advanced enough for rapidly scaling brands.
The production quality of this show is exceptional. You’re getting multiple perspectives on the same challenge, with a storytelling approach that makes it an easy listen.
You’re also going to hear lots of successful entrepreneurs provide strategies that go against conventional wisdom, which is refreshing.
#14 – The School of Greatness
The School of Greatness combines personal development with entrepreneurship.
Lewis Howes is an excellent interviewer and is always bringing on guests with diverse backgrounds—from athletes to entrepreneurs and artists. These interviews provide unique perspectives and mindsets that can be directly applied to a range of business challenges.
You’ll also hear a lot about Lewis’s own journey from athlete to entrepreneur, which adds credibility when he discusses the mental aspects of building a business and the parallels of high-performing athletes.
#15 – The Tim Ferriss Show
Tim Ferriss is known for best-seller, the 4-Hour Work Week.
And while I’ve read this book multiple times and love the concepts, I’m personally too hands-on with my businesses to be working such limited hours. But good for any of you who want to take that leap!
Tim’s podcast is a lot like his writing. It’s practical advice and pulls from his own personal experiences.
One unique difference between this podcast and others on my list is the length. Most episodes are over two hours long, and some are closer to three. I typically don’t finish episodes in one sitting, but I love the deep dive that Tim takes. Instead of just touching surface-level concepts, Tim leaves no stone unturned with his tactics.
Final Thoughts
The podcasts on this list all take different approaches to business and marketing. Some focus on tactical implementation while others prioritize your mindset and strategic thinking.
I’m not expecting you to listen to all of these. The key is finding a show that fits your goals.
I recommend starting with two or three that align with your current challenges.
Remember, beyond the marketing and business knowledge, you can also use these podcasts to make yourself a better podcaster.
