Sharing Presentations with SlideShare
One of the most beautiful ways to get your entire message across to those who are interested in your niche now comes from a place called SlideShare. SlideShare is the world’s largest community for sharing presentations. These presentations can easily be seen on SlideShare itself, on mobile devices, or embedded on other sites through the use of widgets.
SlideShare is among the 200 most-visited websites in the world. Besides presentations, SlideShare also supports documents, PDFs, videos, and webinars.
People are flocking to SlideShare and using it as a search engine to find presentations based on keywords! These could and should be your keywords.
SlideShare and sites like it (that in my opinion happen to pale in comparison to this one) enable you to put a beautiful presentation together and let others experience it for themselves. Rather than asking your audience to sit in on a live or a taped webinar, here, you have the opportunity to show off your chops in a presentation format.
And people are loving it and sharing it (hence the name) like crazy.
The best way to approach SlideShare is to imagine someone watching a presentation about you without you being there.
Be bold and be powerful with your presentation. Be very visual. And be willing to let people know that there’s more…a lot more…when they deal with you directly.
Imagine creating one gorgeous and compelling slide presentation and then having it go “viral” based on the depth of your knowledge. It only takes one influencer in your niche to make that happen if they find your SlideShare presentation.
Our strongest advice here is to create one terrific presentation at first and to take your time with it. Build it up to become something that people must have and make it very visual and factual. Then push it through all your other social outlets like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Tumblr.
